The Perry County Farmer’s Pantry Now Open on Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 1 PM
The Perry County Farmer’s Pantry is now open every Saturday from 9 AM – 1 PM for Cooperative and non-Cooperative vendors to sell their products. This “soft launch” will serve as an introduction to the communities in and around Perry County to the amazing opportunities that this project presents. The membership fee to sell products in the Pantry is $25 for Perry County Cooperative Members and $50 for non-members. *All vendors who sell product at the Perry County Farmer’s Pantry must adhere to the guidelines of the Pantry. All consumable products must be packed and labeled according to cottage food specifications or under an approved FDA or ASDA label and adhere to ingredient and nutritional guidelines.
The Perry County Farmer’s Pantry is a storefront and café that will carry products made by the various producers working in the Perry County Community Kitchen and is open to all Cooperative and
Non-Cooperative vendors. All products carried in the Perry County Farm Store must be packed and labeled according to cottage food specification or under an approved FDA or USADA label with ingredients and nutritional guidelines. The Perry County Farmer’s Pantry also includes a small café and bakery with artisan breads, cakes, muffins, pastries, and scones for sale when available. The counter offers local tea, coffee, and sandwiches using local meats, eggs and vegetables. This space is open to the public.
The Farmer’s Pantry Café will open summer 2016.
